Chichester Art Trail 2019

It's nearly time for the Chichester Art Trail again. This will be the second year I open up our home to the public in order to display a selection of my latest artwork. 160 local artists are taking part across 127 venues in the Chichester area in West Sussex. Some will be opening their homes, others their studios. There will be a wide variety of techniques on show and lots of opportunity to purchase original artwork on any budget.

I will be exhibiting screen prints, linocuts and intaglio prints as well as lampshades, tea towels, note books and cards. There will also be the opportunity to have a nose through my sketchbooks for working drawings, designs and samples. Natural forms feature heavily in my designs, with particular focus on the changing seasons. I am interested in the spaces we inhabit, how we fill and decorate them, pattern and design. Since graduating with a first class honours degree in Fine Art from the University of Chichester in 2014, my work has gravitated naturally further towards print. I have always enjoyed changing method and material to suit the style of each body of work, working in watercolour to develop ideas and study subject matter.

The Chichester Art Trail is open Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, Bank Holiday Monday 6th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May from 10.30-5.30. Entry to all venues is free. All the artists involved have been working very hard and would love you to pop in to say hello!
